CP CREATIVES x HYATT ZIVA PUERTO VALLARTA

The CP Creatives team had a long journey from London via Dallas to the West Coast of Mexico. We had Alex on photo, Angus on video and Guy producing for a four-day small social media shoot at Hyatt Ziva Puerto Vallarta.  We arrived at the hotel and got straight into our work, with a shoot of the stunning lobby area and additional headshots of the hotel staff. The highlight of our first day of shooting was a romantic dinner scene; the hotel set up an open tepee and dinner table on the beach.  The models were served food and drinks as the sun set behind them out to sea.  Angus and Alex made the most of a beautiful sunset as they worked hard to ensure we didn’t miss the best angles.

Each morning, we worked as the sun rose over the hills behind us, and the light crept along the beach in front of the hotel. It was a perfect opportunity to get drone shots of the hotel and for a sunrise yoga scene. Another shoot highlight was capturing a few of the hotel’s restaurants. Their food was always presented wonderfully, and we worked with the models and staff to authentically capture some great mealtime scenes.

We also had a fun afternoon shooting the kid#s activity, which was cookie making.  Judging by all the mess made by the flour and the smiles on faces, a good time was had by all, and our team was pleased with the photos and videos taken.  We captured some of the hotel’s entertainment each evening, and not much acting was required from the models to show how impressive it was.

Overall, we enjoyed our stay in Puerto Vallarta- we cooperated smoothly and warmly with the hotel and the models.

We look forward to returning one day!
