CP CREATIVES x CORONA ISLAND
After previous projects with Corona in Jamaica and Scotland, in October 2023, CP Creatives collaborated with Corona for their competition, where customers can win a trip to Corona Island. This was a five-day trip, and the Corona team had created an itinerary for the week filled with activities, while still ensuring enough time for the team to relax and enjoy the island. Our role was to authentically capture moments of our team enjoying everything the island had to offer, creating Instagram reels for the brand.
Henry, Alex, Kelly and Ian arrived on the island via a fun-filled speedboat ride. This photo shows the entire island, which is quaint and peaceful, surrounded by clear water and luscious greenery, and houses local wildlife. Our first lunch was a great introduction to the incredible food we experienced throughout the entire week on the island. All breakfasts, lunches, and dinners were expertly crafted and cared for by the chef and his team. Breakfast time was enjoyable, not only because the food was good, but it was also one of our favourite times to capture content for our vlogs. We were joined by two very friendly and hungry parrots that seemed to target Ian’s food the most.
Each day was filled with activities to highlight Corona’s drive to help the environment and educate island guests on the conservation and sustainability of the area. Two standout activities for the team were planting mangroves and snorkelling in an area struggling with coral reef damage. Planting mangroves was especially significant because they are crucial to the ecosystem and islands. Another favourite activity was snorkelling. First, the Corona team educated us about the marine life and the types of coral in the area, explaining what affects their health and sustainability. They then took us to a beautiful spot where we saw the coral and sea life up close. Learning about and witnessing the underwater ecosystem firsthand was an incredible experience. Of course, this was excellent content to capture and share, as these experiences and activities are central to the ethos of Corona and Corona Island.
Images two and three are from an afternoon when the team had time to get creative with content. One photo shows the team relaxing on the island’s pristine beach, the perfect place to sit and relax or take out some paddle boards or canoes, which Alex and Henry did quite often.
The fourth image, of course, features a Corona—the main driving force behind this experience. It was great to continue our conversation with some of the Corona team members and learn more about their iconic brand and marketing strategies. This continued to inspire us and helped shape our vision for the content we wanted to capture.
Thank you, Corona, for the chance to capture your beautiful island. We are excited that many more people will be able to enjoy it in the future.
